Life in the wrong lane.
Their heavy claps applauding.
As they lead me on my way.
The mantra playing beside me.
Teasing me,
Of the freedom, I shall never have.
I am walking the wrong path,
this isn’t my path to walk.
Not once did they question,
my innocence.
But innocent I am.
Yet here I am,
the path is ending,
and their still applauding me.
Everyone is still.
I can no longer hear the clapping.
The mantra fading,
Just like my path.
My life is ending.
